Finite Verb – किसी भी सेंटेंस में सब्जेक्ट change करें, Number Change करें या Gender change करें, Time, Tense etc change करते हैं तो Verb change होती हैं और इन Verb को Finite Verb कहा जाता हैं | इसमें Verb जो हैं वो Change होती रहती हैं |
जैसे –
He goes to school. यहाँ पर देख रहे हो, Go हैं |
They go to school और यहाँ पर Goes हैं |
इन दोनों सेंटेंस में Go Finite Verb हैं |
Nonfinite Verb क्या होता हैं ?
Nonfinite का मतलब होता हैं अनिश्चित, मतलब इसमें कुछ changinng आप नहीं ला सकते हैं |
चाहे आप Time बदले, Tense बदले, Gender बदले , subject बदले आप कुछ भी Changing नहीं ला सकते हैं |
जबकि –
I have to go.
अब यहाँ का जो verb हैं Go वो कभी नहीं बदलेगा, चाहे आप Number, Gender या Subject या कुछ भी बदल दें |
जैसे –
I have to go.
You have to go.
She has to go.
He has to go.
यहाँ पर देख रहे हो, go पर कोई भी Changing नहीं आ रहा हैं |
तो इसलिए यह सब “nonfinite verb” हैं |
- Verb के साथ
- Prepostion के साथ Object
- Subject Object Noun/Pronoun होता हैं |
- Model हमेशा V1 लेती हैं
- किसी सेंटेंस को Sentence कहलाने के लिए एक Finite Verb होना बहुत ज़रूरी हैं |

तो यहाँ पर Need जो हैं वो Finite Verb हैं जबकि “to work” Infinite हैं | तो need में Changing आएगा अगर Subject, Nubmer, Tense etc बदला तो लेकिन to work में किसी भी हाल में Changning नहीं आने वाला हैं |
Non-finite verb का इस्तेमाल क्यूँ किया जाता हैं |
I promise that I will wait.
I promise to wait. तो यहाँ पर देख रहे हो Sentence छोटा भी हो गया और देखने में भी ठीक लग रहा हैं |
I joined this company in order to gain experience.
I joined this company to gain experience.
The use of toothpaste for the cleaning of teeth is a common practice.
Cleaning teeth with toopaste is a common practice.
He returned and he was smiling.
He retured smiling.
Infinitives क्या होता हैं और कितने प्रकार का होता हैं ?
Infinitives दो प्रकार के होते हैं /-
I. Verb की First Form जो होती हैं वो Bare Infinitive होती हैं
II. इस verb के साथ अगर “To” हैं तो यह To Infinitive हैं |
• जैसे – यह Play का First Form Play/Plays होगा , सिंगुलर के साथ plays और Plural Subject के साथ Play तो,
• अब इसकी V2 Played
• V3(past Participle) – Played
• V4(present Participle) – Playing
तो यहाँ पर बिना “s” वाला जो Verb का फर्स्ट फॉर्म हैं, “Play” Infinitive होगा यह Bare Infinitives होगा और
वही जबकि “To play” कर देंगे तो यह “To Infinitive”हो गया |
Infinitives के कितने नाम होते हैं ?
Infinitives के कई नाम हैं, वैसे तो इसको दो ही भाग में बांटा जाता हैं लेकिन
- Infinitive – लेकिन इस Infinitive को ही कई नाम से पुकारा जाता हैं , जैसे, Full infinitive , To-Infinitive/ Infinitive with ‘To’
- Bare Infinitives – Bare का मतलब होता हैं, नंगा, उसी प्रकार इसके भी कई नाम हैं – Infinitive without to ,
अब जैसे ,
I can do this.
she can do this,
he can do this,
यहाँ पर हमेशा “do” ही क्यूँ हैं, तो इसका जवाब हैं कि do यहाँ पर Bare infintive हैं,
तो दो verb एक साथ आ सकता हैं
उसी प्रकार दूसरा उदहारण –
Let go, तो यहाँ पर दो verb एक साथ कैसे हैं, तो इसका जवाब हैं कि दूसरा वाला जो Verb हैं वो Non-finite है और Bare infinitives हैं |
Infinitives as a Noun का इस्तेमाल कैसे करें ?
To walk is a good excercise.
यहाँ पर To walk जो हैं वो Noun की तरह behave कर रहा हैं, subject के रूप में
I want to go
यहाँ पर ‘to go’ object हैं और Noun की तरह Behave कर रहा हैं, तो यह कभी भी Change नहीं होगा, चाहे Subject कोई भी हो,
अब एक और उदहारण देख –
He refused to obey my parents.
तो यहाँ पर, To obey, Infinitives as a Noun behave कर रहा हैं और लेकिन आप बोलेंगे कि आप बोलेंगे कि To obey ऑब्जेक्ट हैं, Refused का , तो यहाँ पर “my parents” आगे फिर एक Object हैं तो इसका क्या हैं ?
तो इसक जवाब हैं कि obey, Transitive verb हैं तो वो अपना Object लेगा, तो ये नहीं बोला जा सकता हैं कि दो दो object कैसे =
